White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will brief reporters Thursday afternoon just hours after the House GOP passed its “one big, beautiful” budget bill focused on President Trump’s domestic priorities.

Trump praised Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and the GOP after lawmakers advanced the legislation following an overnight session, writing online, “thank you to every Republican who voted YES on this Historic Bill!”

The press briefing also comes after a shooting outside of the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington left two Israeli Embassy staffers dead. The president condemned the incident as “based obviously on antisemitism” and called for the violence to end.

The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT.
