Federal Aviation Administration Acting Administrator Chris Rocheleau will testify Wednesday morning before the House Appropriations Committee on the agency’s fiscal 2026 budget request.
The hearing comes as President Trump and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy have stressed their goal of overhauling the FAA and investing in more modern technology and recruitment for air traffic controllers following significant staffing shortages and system outages — most recently brought to light amid the chaos at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
