Biden pays respects to victims of Maine mass shooting: Watch live
President Biden is slated to give remarks Friday afternoon in Lewiston, Maine, after 18 people were killed there last week in the deadliest mass shooting in state history.
The president and first lady Jill Biden will pay their respects to victims, meet with first responders and grieve with families and community members affected by the shooting, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
The remarks are scheduled for 4:15 p.m. EDT.
