President Trump on Wednesday is scheduled to host a roundtable discussion about California’s “sanctuary cities.”
The president has repeatedly targeted the state for its policies toward immigration enforcement and has called for a crackdown on sanctuary cities, arguing that the policies make American cities less safe. Sanctuary cities do not cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
Trump is scheduled to begin the discussion at 3:15 p.m.
