White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will answer questions from reporters on Wednesday afternoon, the day after the White House was slammed by two major news developments.
On Tuesday, President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to federal crimes including a campaign contribution violation he implied was committed in coordination with Trump.
And Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was convicted on Tuesday on eight counts of bank and tax fraud brought by special counsel Robert Mueller.
The press briefing is scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m.
