Dem strategist: I’ll run Oprah’s 2020 campaign if she runs
A Democratic strategist says he wants to run Oprah Winfrey’s presidential campaign if she enters the 2020 race.
“Look, if you’re Oprah, I want to run your campaign. Let a poor brown man show you how to do this!” Chuck Rocha, head of Solidarity Strategies, told The Hill while speaking about the Democrats’ 2020 field.
{mossecondads}Rocha, a senior adviser to Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) Democratic presidential campaign last year, predicted a crowded Democratic field, perhaps including Sanders again.
“I think Bernie is really coming back to run, and I think that shakes up the field if Bernie comes back to run,” Rocha said.
