New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Thursday morning is giving a press briefing to provide updates on the coronavirus pandemic in his state, which is the epicenter of the outbreak in the U.S.
On Wednesday, Cuomo reported that New York experienced its largest single-day death toll from the coronavirus, at 779.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EDT.
