Democratic Rep: Ryan budget isn’t going anywhere
A Democratic lawmaker says the House GOP budget isn’t going anywhere.
Kentucky Rep. John Yarmuth (D) told The Hill that House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) fiscal 2015 budget “is pretty much a rhetorical exercise.”
{mosads}Yarmuth, a member of the Budget panel, contends that Ryan’s “Path to Prosperity” is more of the same from the GOP.
The Budget Committee is marking up the GOP’s fiscal policy blueprint on Wednesday, and the House is expected to vote on it next week before the two-week Easter recess.
