Watch live: Pelosi holds press conference ahead of Greene vote
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is set to take questions from reporters at the Capitol on Thursday morning.
Pelosi’s news conference comes ahead of a House vote later in the day on removing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) from her committee assignments.
Republican leaders have so far declined to take disciplinary actions against Greene, who is facing criticism for a number of social media posts related to conspiracy theories and other controversial remarks.
Pelosi is also expected to address the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lawmakers’ efforts to pass another relief bill.
The press conference is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. EST.
