Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is set to hold her weekly briefing with reporters on Thursday morning at the Capitol.
The briefing comes after the House late Wednesday approved an independent commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.
The measure earned little support from Republicans.
Pelosi is scheduled to begin the briefing at 10:45 a.m. ET.
