Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is scheduled to testify before a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on Wednesday morning.
The hearing will address Democratic proposals to modify Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which provides tech companies a liability shield over third-party content posted on their platforms.
The hearing is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.
