Rangel hits the dance floor

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) took some time away from the House floor to show off his moves on the dance floor at a festival this weekend in Harlem, N.Y.

Rangel was a guest for the 22nd Annual Ethnic Festival in East Harlem and took the stage Saturday to dance with Lorenz Latin Dance Studio.

{mosads}Rangel has shown confidence in his dancing ability before, joking with Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) after a video of Lewis dancing to Pharrell Williams’s hit song “Happy” went viral in March.

“My dear friend, you’re my personal hero, but you just got served,” Rangel tweeted to Lewis in March. Rangel attached a video of him dancing at his 80th birthday party in 2010.
