Angelina Jolie: Political run ‘possible’

Angelina Jolie is talking more about a possible political run, saying she might “consider” it.

“It’s not something I’m actively seeking at this moment,” the actress and mom of six tells Tom Brokaw in Tuesday night’s NBC News special, “Angelina Jolie: Unbroken.”

{mosads}She adds, “It would be hard for me to imagine. However, if I found I could be useful, I would consider it.”

The answer is similar to what the United Nations special envoy for refugee issues, 39, said in a Vanity Fair interview published last month.

“I am open,” Jolie said then, when asked about trading her acting career for a job in politics, diplomacy, or public service. “But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful — I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible.”

The NBC special about “Unbroken,” directed by Jolie, airs Tuesday at 10 p.m.
