A high-ranking GOP lawmaker is urging U.S. cities to be extra “careful” following the terror attack in France this week.
{mosads}Intelligence Committee member Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) said the U.S. does not need to raise the national threat level but that “cities and states” would benefit from keeping an eye on “sites that could be vulnerable.”
“I don’t think we have to officially upgrade our threat level, but i think we should be more careful, certainly in New York they are moving the police around, they’re going to locations that could be more vulnerable,” King, the former chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told The Hill.
