The fourth-ranking House Republican is hopeful the Senate will vote on a series of bills combatting human trafficking that were approved by the House on Tuesday.
{mosads}Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rodgers (R-Wash.), the House GOP Conference chairwoman, noted that the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee has said he would move on them soon.
“So, we are hopeful that we will get quick action and that is why we’re bringing them forward at the beginning of this new Congress,” McMorris-Rodgers said.
