House lawmakers are offering dueling bills in response to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive’s decision to retract a rule banning certain rifle ammunition.
{mosads}Rep. Patrick McHenry’s (R-N.C.) bill aims to protect all forms of ammunition, while Rep. Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) is offering legislation to ban armor-piercing bullets made for handguns.
