Clinton: My pneumonia finally got GOP to care about women’s health
Hillary Clinton on Friday said the bout of pneumonia that briefly sidelined her on the campaign trail finally got Republicans to care about women’s health issues.
“As the world knows I’ve been a little under the weather recently,” she told a crowd at the Black Women’s Agenda Symposium Workshop in Washington, D.C. “The good news is my pneumonia finally got some Republicans interested in women’s health.”
Health has been a prominent topic in the campaign cycle this past week, with both candidates planning to release their medical records, and GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump appearing on the “Dr. Oz Show” on Thursday to discuss his well-being.
