WATCH: Congressional Black Caucus: Release video from Charlotte shooting

Several Congressional Black Caucus members tell The Hill that the Charlotte police chief “absolutely” needs to release the video of a police-involved shooting.

{mosads}”I believe that the video should be released right away because when they’re not, distrust builds in the community; distrust about altering them, distrust about whether they’re going to get to know the truth,” Texas Democratic Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson tells The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper.

Bernice Johnson and her colleague, Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), spoke to The Hill Thursday, shortly following their march with Congressional Black Caucus members from the Capitol to the Justice Department. They are demanding that Attorney General Loretta Lynch investigate the recent police-involved killings.
