CPAC: Republicans need to act on ObamaCare
Attendees at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) warned that lawmakers who fail to deliver on campaign promises could pay a price in the midterm elections.
{mosads}”I think they’re doomed in 2018 if they don’t do something good and serious with respect to ObamaCare,” said Jay W. Richards, executive director of The Stream, a Conservative news blog.
Crowds at CPAC — held in National Harbor, Md. — were energized following President Trump’s fiery speech on Friday, in which he blasted the media and repeated many campaign promises.
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), who attended the conference Friday, sought to quell voters’ concerns about GOP plans to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
“We’re not gonna pull the rug out from anyone. We’re not gonna leave anyone hanging,” he said.
