Democratic leaders are set Thursday to announce legislation to add four seats to the Supreme Court as progressives push the White House to advocate for an expansion of the high court.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (N.Y.), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Ed Markey (Mass.) will join other lawmakers in unveiling legislation they say will boost the size of the Supreme Court from nine seats to 13.
