President Biden and first lady Jill Biden are scheduled to meet Thursday afternoon with first responders from the partial collapse of a Surfside, Fla., condo building.
The collapse occurred in a town neighboring Miami. More than 140 people remain unaccounted a week after the collapse, while the official death toll has risen to 18 people.
The president and first lady are scheduled to speak with Surfside first responders at 11 a.m. EDT.
