Watch Live: Schumer, Senate Democrats hold press conference
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) will hold a press conference with a handful of Democratic senators on Tuesday afternoon.
Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), Jeff Merkley (Ore.), Alex Padilla (Calif.) and Raphael Warnock (Ga.) will join Schumer at the press conference.
It comes as Schumer leans into a fight to change the Senate’s legislative filibuster in a push to advance election reform legislation.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EST.
