A House Democratic lawmaker says President Obama’s decision to postpone action on immigration reform until after the midterm election hurt Democrats at the polls.
“I thought that there was a noticeable lapse in the Hispanic vote all through the southern tier states stretching from California to Florida, and the Hispanic vote was demotivated by the president’s postponing of this decision,” Florida Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson told The Hill.
