WATCH: GOP reps differ on timing for ObamaCare repeal vote

Rank-and-file House Republicans are at odds over the chances they’ll vote on an amended bill to repeal ObamaCare before Saturday — President Trump’s 100th day in office.

{mosads}Conservative House Freedom Caucus co-founder Jim Jordan is optimistic the vote will happen soon, telling The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper, “I think we’re close on having the votes to pass” it.

Fellow conservative Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) said “80 to 90 percent” of the Freedom Caucus is “on board” with the amended bill.

“I hope that we will have [a vote] tomorrow, Friday; certainly no later than next week. … Now it’s up to the more liberal wing of the Republican conference to decide if they truly are for even a partial repeal of Obamacare,” Brooks said in an interview with The Hill.

Illinois Rep. Peter Roskam (R) — a former chief deputy — cautions, however, that the vote may not occur until next week or later.

“I would be surprised beyond belief if there’s vote today or tomorrow on health care bill,” Roskam said.

But Rep. Dennis Ross (R-Fla.) said leaders aren’t ruling out a Saturday vote.
