Trump steps up attacks on Megyn Kelly
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is stepping up his attacks on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.
Trump slammed Kelly’s “terrible show” and accused her of misrepresenting his views in a series of tweets late Friday night:
Is it possible for @megynkelly to cover anyone but Donald Trump on her terrible show. She totally misrepresents my words and positions! BAD.

If @megynkelly stopped covering me on her show, her ratings would drop like a rock! My h to h interview with @AC360 beat her by millions!

{mosads}Trump has been lobbing attacks at Kelly for months, since an August GOP presidential debate where he took exception to what he considered unfair questions from the Fox anchor.
Trump has skipped two debates hosted by Fox News since the incident, and in March he called for a boycott of Kelly’s show.
“Never worth watching,” he wrote at the time. “[It is] always a hit on Trump. She is sick [and] the most overrated person on TV.”
Fox News fired back, saying in a statement that Trump’s “extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land.”
Kelly said in an interview excerpt released Friday that she would “absolutely” interview Trump on her show if he wanted to.
