Trump returns to Washington after spending holidays at Mar-a-Lago
President Trump and his family have returned to Washington, D.C. after spending the holidays at Trump’s private beach club in Florida.
Air Force One landed at Joint Base Andrews on Monday evening.
Will be leaving Florida for Washington (D.C.) today at 4:00 P.M. Much work to be done, but it will be a great New Year!

Trump arrived at Mar-a-Lago on Dec. 22, just hours after signing a Republican tax overhaul that represented the first major legislative achievement of his presidency.
While at Mar-a-Lago, which Trump has dubbed the “Winter White House,” the president visited his nearby private golf club seven days in a row. Monday was the 117th day that Trump has spent at one of his own properties since taking office.
Trump tweeted often during his stay in Florida, making headlines with statements about the “fake news media” and climate change.
“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record,” Trump tweeted on Dec. 28. “Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”
I use Social Media not because I like to, but because it is the only way to fight a VERY dishonest and unfair “press,” now often referred to as Fake News Media. Phony and non-existent “sources” are being used more often than ever. Many stories & reports a pure fiction!

He also attacked the U.S. Postal Service, tweeting that they are getting “dumber and poorer” while Amazon is getting richer.
{mosads}Trump also hosted family, friends and cabinet members at Mar-a-Lago for the club’s annual New Year’s Eve party.
Entering the second year of his presidency, Trump is returning to a busy January.
Lawmakers are facing a Jan. 19 deadline to pass a bill funding the government and are also dealing with fights over childhood insurance funding, surveillance reforms and what to do for undocumented immigrants who have benefited from Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Trump over the holidays warned that he will not agree to a fix for DACA recipients unless Democrats fund his proposed border wall.
The Democrats have been told, and fully understand, that there can be no DACA without the desperately needed WALL at the Southern Border and an END to the horrible Chain Migration & ridiculous Lottery System of Immigration etc. We must protect our Country at all cost!

Trump is set to deliver his first State of the Union address on Jan. 30.
