Rosie O’Donnell hints at Steve Bannon portrayal
Rosie O’Donnell may have offered fans the first glimpse of what she might look like if she plays Steve Bannon on “Saturday Night Live.”
The comedian changed her Twitter profile picture to a photoshopped image of her as President Trump’s chief strategist. The post comes amid speculation that she could be the next celebrity to portray a member of Trump’s senior staff.
O’Donnell tweeted on Monday that she would be willing to play Bannon on the long-running sketch comedy show if asked.

Actor Melissa McCarthy’s portrayal of White House press secretary Sean Spicer on “SNL” over the weekend drew rave reviews, and reportedly angered Trump because Spicer was played by a woman.
The move left some, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), speculating about what an all-female portrayal of Trump’s inner circle would look like.
{mosads}O’Donnell and Trump have been engaged in a feud lasting more than a decade. The real estate mogul has called the comedian “a pig” and has threatened to sue her and bashed her on the campaign trail. O’Donnell frequently assails Trump on Twitter.
Trump has criticized “SNL” numerous times on Twitter, suggesting that its ratings are weak and that it is “totally biased,” because of Alec Baldwin’s ongoing portrayal of him on the show.
In recent weeks, Bannon has been portrayed on “SNL” as a Grim Reaper-type figure, who acts as a puppet master for Trump.
