Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will soon be releasing some medical records, Politico reported.
{mosads}Pence, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s running mate, plans to release the records from a physical examination he had this summer, spokesman Marc Lotter told Politico on Wednesday.
The document will be released once Pence’s doctor has finished compiling it. Lotter reportedly said Pence had always planned to release his medical records.
Questions have been raised recently about the health of both major-party nominees, and many people have called for the candidates to release their medical records.
Trump shared the results of his recent medical exam during a Wednesday taping of “The Dr. Oz Show.” He handed TV personality Mehmet Oz a one-page summary of his physical that was conducted last week.
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton also on Wednesday released in-depth information from her medical records. A document she released included her physician saying, “she is in excellent mental condition.”
Clinton’s doctor said she examined the Democratic nominee several times this week, after it was revealed she had been diagnosed last week with pneumonia. Her doctor said that “the remainder of her complete physical was normal.”
Clinton’s running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), also released a letter from his doctor, which said he was in “excellent health.”
