Ivanka Trump doubles down on vaccine push with post celebrating second shot
Ivanka Trump touted the COVID-19 vaccine in a social media post celebrating her second dose, once again urging her followers to get vaccinated.
“This afternoon, I gratefully received my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine,” Ivanka Trump, the oldest daughter of former President Trump, wrote in a Twitter post.
“Getting fully vaccinated is the best way to end this pandemic and protect ourselves and one another,” she added.

The former White House senior adviser documented her first shot last month in another Twitter post.
Today, I got the shot!!! I hope that you do too!

Her posts come months after she told “The View” co-host Joy Behar in September that she would get the vaccine once it was available to her.
Her initial post caused backlash among some of her far-right followers who rejected her public pleas, noted Forbes. Several comments on her newest post signal a similar response.
To date, more than 105 million people have gotten their second doses in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine tracker.
